OUR CONCEPT
We have carefully filled every corner of Casa Mia with a touch of love utilizing local materials to give a truly heartfelt experience to our guests. We value the tranquility of El Cuyo and hope to share that feeling.
We are looking for guests that enjoy a minimalist and low impact lifestyle. We try to be a low waste property, managing our own trash, and treating our waste water with a large wetland garden. We have been running No Mas Plastik, a waste reduction campaign for 8 years and would love to share more how travelers can reduce their footprint. We support local environmental groups and try to do our part in being an environmentally responsible operation.
We offer a beautiful retreat for those looking to escape the noise of popular touristy places. This is a great space for people wanting to come for longer term stays and participate in all the fun activities El Cuyo offers such as kiteboarding, paddleboarding, biking and fishing.
We like to maintain a quiet surrounding for our guests so we only allow kids from 10 years or older to stay at the property and no pets.
We have 2 cats and 2 dogs here in the property ready to play with you if you like or they will stay in a designated area.
