At Extreme Control Adventures in El Cuyo, we are proud to operate as an official IKO Pro Center — something only a limited number of schools in Mexico are part of. Becoming an IKO Pro Center is not simply a title; schools must apply, invest in the certification process, and continuously follow the international teaching and safety standards established by the IKO.

After more than 20 years of teaching kiteboarding and ocean sports, and after opening one of the first kiteboarding schools in the Riviera Maya back in 2005, we continue to believe that safety, professionalism, and proper progression are the foundation of a great learning experience. Our lessons focus first on kite control, safety systems, self-rescue, and understanding the conditions before advancing into board skills and riding techniques.

Our team — Nick, Tina, and Lallo — brings passion, experience, and a personal approach to every lesson, creating an environment where students feel supported, safe, and motivated to progress.
